merci!

hi john
once a time there was a french organisator who offered a offroad trip threw France called " La Diagonale", from Narbonne to Belfort.
You can find a description from the trip here:
http://www.enduro-birseck.ch/Seiten/diagonal.htm
If wou cannot read the german, i can send you the different stages (citys) but i have no more details..

Hi Xoreg - and thankyou for helping me in English!
I will contact Trail Rando who seem to have run this trip.
I try and read Enduro when I am in France and the talk is all about the new Olin law. I understand that for a track to be open in France now to all vehicles including motos, it must be passable by a normal Renault Clio (or similar!). Is this correct? Are there any new plans to change access in France? Can we still follow the GRs etc? Are the Bayo maps good for identifying legal routes in planning?
Sorry to ask so many questions but I don.t want to lose my bike to a gendarme or forester!
John
Yes try it.
Olin is one of the mayor problems we all have to deal with in France. But its not a law, it's "only" a circular letter wich recommends an old law from 91, saying thats you allways have to use roads or tracks and never go "offroad"...
But its clearly so that the officials now uses this recommandation for more controls and high sanctions.... But you can have the same problems doing this in Britain, Germany or Spain I think....its a risk..thats clear.
For the rest i think the bayo and IGN card are OK. Concerning the use of the GR they are parts with many walkers, so that it is not to recommend and others with nobody on it...all depends the days and the regions.
denX a dit :
I would stay away from the GR, it's too crowded.
